Imagine, you have just become a student. Where do you start?? Lesson One of course. This whole system is structured so that you complete lessons in order until you reach a certain level. Then you can search the database for styles and sounds that you want to start adding into your playing. All video lessons are structured as one week’s worth of work.

So you’ve never played before? Doesn’t matter… lesson One is simply learning what each note

So you move on to lesson Two. In lesson two you are shown a secret that many teachers are completely unaware of - Chordal Skeletons. It is such a simple thing but it unlocks 80% of chords straight away. It is probably the single most important thing for beginner contemporary pianists to know. We have seen professional pianists jaws drop and exclaim… ‘Wow… that makes everything else so easy!’

You’re now two weeks in and onto lesson Three. Now that you are playing those skeletons effortlessly, it only takes you two minutes to understand how to play every major chord under the sun. Of course you are shown a way to practice to make these chords second nature as well. That way you never again have to think what notes are in what chord… you just know.
Many musicians are never taught to be fluent around all twelve keys. This is really where this method shines. C Major is always just as easy as Gb Major.

So imagine 3 weeks from now you are at this stage… you know where every note is on the piano, you have learnt all your chordal skeletons and you can play every major triad known to man. You have a solid understanding of your keys, skeletons and chords! So now, it’s time to start playing music. Lesson Four has you playing a bossa nova style in ANY key!

Excited by this new found knowledge you race down to your local music store, or jump on our online store and get hold of a fake book (a music book with chord progressions to over 300 tunes). You can now open up to your favorite song and play it as a bossa-nova.

Each video lesson adds to the last, so any tune you play will sound better and better as you progress. Each video lesson is designed to be one weeks practice.
